The GN proudly hosts the Summer Student Employment Equity Program each year in an effort to encourage continuous learning and to foster youth development. The SSEEP is an opportunity for you, as a Nunavummiut student, to gain meaningful work experience and get on-the-job training with the Nunavut Public Service.

WHO CAN APPLY?

Students* currently enrolled in a post-secondary program

Students* in grade 10 or above

Students* who have attended a post-secondary program or recognized apprenticeship trade school one year before the student application deadline

Note: *Student is a Nunavut Inuit or meets the definition of a Nunavut Student

HOW DO I APPLY?

Fill out the application form and include:

  • Your resume

  • Proof of enrollment

i.e. acceptance letter, transcript, letter from the registrar

  • Proof of residency

i.e. Nunavut Health Care card, drivers’ license

Your preferred start date

A reference and/or criminal record check may be required and is an asset
