Call for Interest – Visit to Winnipeg Art Gallery
Are you over the age of 18? Do you want to participate in a visit to the Winnipeg Art Gallery (WAG)? If so, our new workshop is for you!
The Department of Culture and Heritage is looking for 8 interested Nunavut Inuit living in the territory, who are interested in learning more about Inuit art.
The workshop takes place during the first week of December, and includes:
• Art workshops with WAG staff, including photography, print making, sewing and painting.
• A visit to the Government of Nunavut Fine Art Collection and WAG Collection to study Inuit art from Nunavut.
• An opportunity to spend time in an art studio.
• Visits to local attractions, such as the WAG at the Forks.

Interested applicants must send a one-page letter to ltulugarjuk@gov.nu.ca about why they are interested in attending this workshop. The deadline to apply is October 27, 2017.
