Mechanical Inspection Certificates for school buses

The Department of Economic Development and Transportation reminds school bus service providers to submit their Mechanical Inspection Certificates by August 31, 2023.

This reminder is for service providers contracted by the Department of Education or by a District Education Authority.

Service providers must complete a School Bus Mechanical Inspection Certificate for each bus being operated. The certificates are available for download here.

Please email completed forms to the Manager of Motor Vehicle Safety and Inspections, James Demcheson, at jdemcheson@gov.nu.ca.

Failure to comply with this requirement may result in a fine.
