FANS Fall Semester Application Deadline

Do you need financial support in reaching your post-secondary education goals?

Financial Assistance for Nunavut Students (FANS) provides financial support to eligible Nunavummiut attending designated post-secondary institutions and programs.

If you are applying to college or university to start a post-secondary program in the fall 2023 semester or are returning to school for another academic year, the deadline to apply for FANS is July 15, 2023.

You don’t have to wait until you are accepted to college or university to apply for FANS funding. You can submit your application now and send your program acceptance letter to the FANS office when you receive it. Your application can begin to be processed and a final decision can only be made after all the required supporting documentation (including your acceptance letter) is received in the FANS office.

Late applications will be accepted until August 15, 2023; however, your funding application may not be processed before you start school. So, apply by the July 15 deadline to better ensure that your funding application is processed before you start school.
