Shape the future of Nunavut education: become a DEA or CSFN member

Are you passionate about strengthening education in Nunavut? Do you want to be a community leader, paving the way forward for the rights of students, parents and education staff?

The District Education Authorities (DEAs) and Commission scolaire francophone du Nunavut (CSFN) are holding elections for new members on October 23, 2023. There are seven DEA seats in each community and five CSFN spots in Iqaluit.

Applications for DEA/CSFN candidates are accepted from September 18 (noon local time) until September 22 (2:00 p.m. local time).

Simply complete a Declaration of Candidacy on the Elections Nunavut website and follow the instructions on how to submit it to your local returning officer. If you have any questions, you can also phone toll-free at 1-800-267-4394.
