Thursday, January 27, is Family Literacy Day which is celebrated each year to encourage Canadian families to spend at least 20 minutes a day enjoying a literacy activity together.
Nominations are now open for the 2018 Council of Federation Literacy Award. Premier Paul Quassa seeks to honour an adult who supports, encourages and shares ways to strengthen literacy skills in Nunavut.
