Effective Monday March 29, travel in and out of Arviat will no longer require approval from the CPHO travel team. However, people still under isolation for exposure to COVID-19 are not allowed to travel until their isolation period is complete.

The Government of Nunavut has relocated Akausisarvik Mental Health Treatment Centre to a newly-renovated location that will enable the department to improve and increase services to clients.
Iqaluit Health Services Outpatient Clinics, and Iqaluit Public Health (Building 1091) will be closed on Friday, November 1, 2019 due to the upgrade of Nunavut’s Electronic Health Record system.
