Government of Nunavut offices closed September 19 for National Day of Mourning for Queen Elizabeth II

Following the Government of Canada’s lead to declare Monday September 19, 2022 a National Day of Mourning, all Government of Nunavut offices and agencies will close for the day in commemoration of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in London, United Kingdom.

Private employers are welcomed to follow suit but are not required to do so.

Government of Nunavut offices will reopen on September 20, 2022.
