Career Development

The Career Development division of the Department of Family Services has the mandate to provide services to the public in order to link people with jobs. This often involves programs that people can use to help them as they undertake education, training or work experience.

There are three regional Career Development offices ready to assist you in your efforts to advance your learning. Contact your Career Development Officer (CDO) for answers to your questions or if you have concerns.

If you don’t have a CDO in your community or do not have access to a fax machine or scanner or a computer, you are welcome to visit another Government of Nunavut office such as an Income Assistance office or to speak to a Government Liaison Officer (GLO). They will be able to help you complete your applications and send them in for processing.
