Call for Proposals – Childrearing Community Funding Initiatives

The Department of Family Services is accepting proposals for projects in 2023-2024 that aim to rebuild and strengthen Inuit traditional childrearing teachings and practices, and that help in reducing poverty.

Non-profit organizations, societies and municipal organizations can apply for funding for projects that include, but are not limited to:

• revitalizing the wisdom and practices of Inunnguiniq;
• supporting healing and wellness for parents/guardians and their families;
• strengthening the roles of family and community in childrearing;
