Cannabis Retailer Training

Welcome to the Government of Nunavut’s Cannabis Retail Employee Training Program!

Under the Cannabis Act (Nunavut), all Nunavut cannabis retailers and any of their employees that deal with the public are required to take this training program. The training is at no cost and takes approximately four to six hours to complete.

To receive certification, individuals must score 75% or higher on the final exam. There is no limit to the number of times a person can take the course.

Certification expires every five years.

To receive login information, please email cannabis@gov.nu.ca to begin the training course.

After the course has been successfully completed individuals will receive their certification via email within three days of passing the final exam.
