Iqaluit NULC store no longer open on Mondays

Effective immediately, the Nunavut Liquor and Cannabis Commission (NULC) store in Iqaluit will no longer open on Mondays for retail sales.

The Iqaluit NULC store had extended its regular operating hours during the COVID-19 pandemic to offer an “Elders’ Day” on Mondays to allow individuals over 60 to purchase products at the store. This was to limit Elders’ potential exposure to COVID-19 in public places. Starting Monday, May 29, the Iqaluit NULC will no longer open on Mondays.

The Iqaluit NULC store’s regular operating hours are now Tuesdays to Saturdays from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
