Travelling outside of Nunavut, but within Canada

Residents of Nunavut, who are not Land Claim Beneficiaries or Government of Nunavut employees, who leave the territory and are travelling within Canada may encounter a situation whereby they may require an ambulance or air medevac.  Land or air ambulance transportation costs are NOT covered by the Nunavut Health Care Plan or the Nunavut Medical Travel policy.  You should consider purchasing third party health insurance.
