The Department of Health is announcing that Moderna’s bivalent mRNA COVID-19 vaccine eligibility has expanded to Elders living in the community who are 65 years and older, as well as immunocompromised Nunavummiut aged 12 and older.
Today, the Department of Health is announcing that, following approval by Health Canada, Moderna’s Spikevax Bivalent mRNA COVID-19 vaccine is now available in Nunavut.
The COVID-19 vaccine is Nunavut’s best protection against this virus, and all Nunavummiut are encouraged to be vaccinated as soon as they are eligible.
