Iqaluit Public Health COVID-19 vaccine clinic update

The COVID-19 vaccine is Nunavut’s best protection against this virus, and all Nunavummiut are encouraged to get vaccinated as soon as they are eligible.

Vaccines and booster doses continue to be made available at Iqaluit Public Health either by appointment or walk-in.

Booster doses help us to maintain protection from severe illness due to COVID-19 and may be administered after an individual has already received the full primary vaccination series recommended for them.

Vaccine availability details at Iqaluit Public Health are as follows:

Category Dose currently available Date and Time Appointment type
50 years and older Second booster dose. Monday to Friday from 9:30 to 11:15 a.m. and from 1:15 to 4:15 p.m. 975-4810 to book an appointment.
5-11 years old who are moderately or severely immunocompromised. Third dose of vaccine. Thursday and Friday from 9:30 to 11:15 a.m. and from 1:15 to 4:15 p.m. Walk-in.
All ages eligible. First and second dose of vaccine, and first booster dose. Thursday and Friday from 9:30 to 11:15 a.m. and from 1:15 to 4:15 p.m. Walk-in.

Physical distancing, hand hygiene and enhanced cleaning practices will be in place to help keep everyone healthy. For the protection of yourself and the community, you must wear a mask to your appointment.
