Policy Analyst

The Policy Analyst reports to the Manager, Policy and Planning and plays a key role in supporting the Minister, the Directorate and the Department as a whole. The Policy Analyst provides support to the Department by conducting research, assisting in legislation/policy development, tracking ongoing departmental initiatives, preparing Ministerial briefing materials, drafting correspondence and tracking and coordinating responses to questions taken in the Legislative Assembly.

Human Resources Coordinator

Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, the Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing advice, guidance and support to all staff within the Department of Culture and Heritage(C&H) and Inuit Uqausinginnik Taiguusiliuqtiit (IUT) through the effective delivery of staffing and recruitment, Inuit employment, employee orientation, performance management initiatives, training and development, employee relations, and human resources reporting.

Revenue and Student Records Assistant

Reporting to the Admissions Officer, the incumbent will be responsible and accountable for all revenue(s) generated by the Nunatta Campus, including invoicing learner fees and charges; maintaining accurate records associated with these responsibilities and ensuring that effective financial controls are in place in accordance with the GN Financial Administration Act and the NAC Financial Policy and Procedures.

Regional Manager, Compensation & Benefits

Reporting to the Director, Compensation & Benefits, the Regional Manager of Compensation & Benefits is accountable for the management  of the professional staff who provide payroll and  compensation  services to Government of Nunavut employees in the Qikiqtaaluk region in accordance with the provisions of the two Collective Agreements, the Nunavut Public Service Act and associated Regulations and  Directives, employee handbooks and the technical requirements of the GN’s payroll system.
