Master’s Certificate in Project Management

The Department of Human Resources’ Public Service Training division is now accepting applications for a Master’s Certificate in Project Management in partnership with York University’s Schulich School of Business Executive Education Centre.

The Master’s Certificate in Project Management consists of nine modules ranging between one to four days each (for a total of 25 days collectively) to be delivered by distance learning from September 2021 to February 2022.

Subject to public health restrictions at the time, this program may include an in-person orientation and a graduation ceremony upon completion of the program. Travel costs for both events will be covered.


The Government of Nunavut is committed to having a representative workforce and supporting Inuit employees to develop successful careers in the public service. This program is open to Nunavut Inuit employees from all Government of Nunavut departments and public bodies.

Priority will be given to Inuit employees who meet the following criteria:

  • Currently working in a Project Management position, and/or
  • Have at least one year of experience handling project management responsibilities, and/or
  • Have management experience.

Completed application forms must be downloaded, printed and signed by the employee and the employee’s supervisor, then emailed or faxed. All registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
