This three-week, self-paced online course covers the equivalent of 2-3 full days of content delivered in a classroom. The longer time period allows for completion of assignments and activities, for which there would not be sufficient time during an intensive in-person course. Live classes using Adobe Connect allow the facilitator to cover content, set a good work pace, and answer questions. Live classes also create a community of learners. Participants complete activities online at their pace, at work or at home. Participants are encouraged to provide practical examples of tasks and documents they require for work that will in turn be developed and submitted as course assignments, replacing assignments for which they meet the same objectives.
This online course is an ideal way to increase your knowledge of MS Excel while staying in your home community. You will learn how to create and format a worksheet, use the power of workbooks for organization and what-if scenarios, create charts, and use formulas. Online core content and quick reference guides can be printed. Several downloadable videos support and explain content. The Live Class sessions are also recorded and can be downloaded if participants cannot make the Live Class. In between classes, participants can expect a call from the instructor offering support as required. Participants are also encouraged to ask for any additional help from the instructor.
