Dr. Michael Patterson, Nunavut’s Chief Public Health Officer, today announced that schools in Baker Lake and Kinngait can open to 100 per cent capacity on February 21.

As of this morning Nunavut has 352 positive cases of COVID-19.

On September 1, 2021, The Department of Family Services established a Seniors Burial Benefit to help relieve some of the strain of losing a close family member by covering certain costs of the burial.
