Call for nominations to the Nunavut Planning Commission

The Government of Nunavut is seeking nominations for the Nunavut Planning Commission (NPC).

The NPC has broad responsibilities for land use planning in Nunavut, including developing land use plans that guide and direct resource development, and ensuring that they are put into effect.

If you are familiar with land management issues in Nunavut and would like to contribute to the work of the NPC, or if you would like to nominate someone, please submit a resume and application form to Patrick Huggins at @email.

Application forms are available on the Department of Environment website at: https://www.gov.nu.ca/environment/information/board-appointments-applic….

Federal and territorial public servants are not eligible for membership on the NPC.

The successful candidate must pass a security clearance. The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. EST on April 30, 2019.
