Child and Family Services (CFS):
Are services for women in family violence situations impacted?
- All CFS services provided by Community Social Services Workers (CSSW) continue without disruptions, including services for women and their children who are victims of violence.
Income Assistance:
How do I receive food vouchers if there is not an Income Assistance Worker (IAW) in my community?
- In Chesterfield Inlet, Grise Fiord and Resolute Bay clients should contact their Regional Offices - same as they currently do for their regular assessments.
What is the status of food vouchers being issued in Sanikiluaq?
- The IAW met with the local stores and have received food vouchers on November 5. Clients will need to meet with the IAW and will be able to then take the voucher to the store to be redeemed.

Courts Update:
What is Department of Justice doing to maintain continuity of court services?
- Court Services has implemented contingency plans to ensure uninterrupted services to Nunavummiut.
- The court registry continues to be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Any criminal or civil proceeding can be filed directly with the Court Registry either in person, by facsimile at: (867) 975-6550 or by email at:

- Access to court records request can also be made in person, by fax or through the civil staff email address.
- The GN is working actively to restore access to its network. Further notifications will be posted on the Nunavut of Justice Website to provide information of the present situation.
