Health Career Fair Day

The Department of Health invites Nunavut Inuit seeking employment opportunities to attend Career Fair Day, on Tuesday October 13 in Iqaluit. This event will highlight current relief positions available in the Iqaluit Health Services division.
Relief work is available immediately in the following areas:

• Registration desk.
• Housekeeping.
• Dietary services.
• Interpretation services.
• Materials management.
• Maintenance.

The Career Fair will be held at the Catholic Parish Hall, building 911, from 1-5p.m.. Attendees will have the chance to speak with division managers to learn more about available positions and to ask questions. A staffing representative from the Department of Human Resources will also be there to assist.
All positions are restricted to Nunavut Inuit. For positions where Inuktitut is mandatory, an oral fluency assessment will be conducted during the interview process at a later date. Applicants should bring an updated resume, a recent Vulnerable Sector Check and a Criminal Records Check.

The Career Fair will adhere to the COVID-19 safety guidelines and public health measures put in place by Chief Public Health Officer. Please follow the recommendations and maintain social distancing throughout this event.
