Procurement, Logistics and Contract Support
The Procurement, Logistics and Contract Support section is part of the Finance division of CGS Procurement and Logistics is the central contract authority for the Government of Nunavut. The organization provides expertise in all purchasing and logistical matters, including preparation of tenders, Request for Proposals and contracts.
This section also maintains a website that provides general information on Requests for Proposals, tenders and contracts issued by the Government of Nunavut. The website is: http://public.gov.nu.ca/.

Note for Inuit and Nunavut Businesses
If you own or operate an Inuit or Nunavut business, you should be aware of the Government of Nunavut's incentive NNI policy. It could make the difference between losing or winning a government request for proposals or tenders.
Sealift Services
Sealift is a vital link for all Nunavut communities and their residents to obtain their annual re-supply of goods and materials needed throughout the year. It remains the most economical way to transport bulk goods to the arctic. Each year, ocean going ships travel from several southern Canada Ports with a variety of goods ranging from construction materials, vehicles, heavy equipment, house wares and non-perishable items.

Contract Reporting Database Search
The Contract Reporting Database presents Government of Nunavut contracts as reported by GN Departments to Community & Government Service’s Procurement, Logistics and Contract Support Services Section.Contracts entered into by the GN Crown agencies and the Legislative Assembly are not reported to CGS and hence are not included in this database.
