Grants and Contributions for Elders

The Department of Culture and Heritage provides funding to individuals, non-profit organizations and municipal corporations that promote youth activities in Nunavut. It provides youth the opportunity to contribute to cultural and language initiatives in Nunavut. Examples of the types of activities that are supported include, but are not limited to, support for youth committees, traditional Inuit skill development such as sealskin skinning, toolmaking and net fishing, and after school and day camp programs.
