The Nunavut Corrections Division is hiring!

Aaqqigiarvik Correctional Healing Facility, our new state-of-the-art correctional centre in Iqaluit, is looking for people who want to make a difference for Nunavummiut in the territory, close to cultural traditions, counselling and education services rooted in Nunavut.

Corrections positions are also available in other facilities located in Iqaluit, Kugluktuk and Rankin Inlet, as well as probation offices across Nunavut.

Employment opportunities include:

  • Administrative assistants, human resources staff, medical records clerk, financial officers
  • Nurses, counsellors
  • Institutional cooks
  • Caseworkers and Case Managers
  • Probation Officers
  • Instructors and Land Program Officers
  • Elders and Cultural Advisors

Nunavut Corrections offers seven weeks of paid training and career development for employment at the healing facilities. We are actively seeking Nunavummiut and Nunavut Inuit to join our teams.

Corrections offers relief, casual and indeterminate employment across the division.
