Call for proposals: Targeted Labour Market Program

The Department of Family Services is now accepting proposals for Targeted Employment and Training Programs to be delivered in the 2024-2025 fiscal year, starting any time after April 1, 2024.

Training providers, including non-profit organizations and institutions, municipal corporations, and Inuit organizations may apply for funding to deliver programs.

Priority will be given to the following types of programs:

  • Training and employment programs for persons with a disability.
  • Training and employment programs for out-of-school youth ages 15-30.
  • Trades training.
  • Heavy equipment training.
  • Skills training.
  • Employment readiness.

Priority will be given to programs offered in Inuktitut as well as programs proposed to be outside of Iqaluit, Rankin Inlet and Cambridge Bay.
