Food recall on select frozen vegetable products

The Department of Health is warning about a food recall on select Harmonie brand, IGA brand, Co-op brand, Western Family brand and unbranded frozen vegetable products.

Mixed vegetables, cut green beans, stir-fry blends and frozen mixed vegetables have been linked to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination.

Please check to see if you have recalled products. All recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the location where they were purchased.

Listeria monocytogenes symptoms include vomiting, nausea, fever, muscle aches, severe headaches and neck stiffness. Pregnant women, Elders and people with weakened immune systems are particularly at risk.
