Do you want to learn to do something new? The Government of Nunavut Department of Environment is offering weekly "Learn to…" events at Sylvia Grinnell Territorial Park in Iqaluit this summer! Different activities are planned for every Tuesday afternoon from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. between now and mid-August.

Some of the "Learn to…" events include:

  • Learn to light a qulliq;
  • Learn to use a GPS; and
  • Learn about traditional plant uses.

All events take place rain or shine; if the weather is bad, activities will be in the Park pavilion.
