Road closures around Rankin Inlet Air Terminal Building

The Government of Nunavut (GN) is advising Rankin Inlet residents of multiple road closures and detours around the Air Terminal Building (ATB) from May 20 to June 13, 2024.  

This is due to the upgrading of the utilidor system leading into the new ATB that is currently under construction. The detours will take place in four phases. A complete map of road closures and detours are provided below. The first phase is scheduled to start of May 19, 2024.

Please note that the dates are subject to change, depending on the progress of the construction.

The GN apologizes in advance for any inconvenience and thanks residents for their patience and understanding.
