T5007 tax slips for Senior Citizen Supplementary Benefit (SCSB) recipients

The Department of Family Services, Income Assistance Division, wishes to inform Iqaluit residents who receive the Senior Citizen Supplementary Benefit (SCSB) about the availability of T5007 tax slips for 2023.

This notice applies to residents who are 65 years of age or older and are recipients of the Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS) or the GIS Spousal Allowance.

Due to recent changes in postal codes by Canada Post in Iqaluit T5007 tax slips for 2023 will not be mailed out this year. Instead, they will be available for pick-up at:

  • 224 Arnakallak Building, Family Services
  • Please bring a Photo ID and proof of your Social Insurance Number.

For Elders that are unable to pick up their slips, please call the Family Services Headquarters at 867-975-5200 to schedule a delivery.

For residents outside of Iqaluit, SCSB T5007 tax slips for 2023 have been mailed out as of January 25, 2024.
