Parents, families, and communities are vital to the quality of our children's upbringing. We give support for childcare programs and to parents and families on an individual basis, contributing to our future by supporting our youngest members of society.

Subsidies
To support and encourage Nunavut parents to reach their full potential, and to encourage the development of their children, subsidies to cover childcare expenses are available.
To encourage Nunavut youth to finish their education, young parents attending middle or high school (or post-secondary education if under age 18) can receive money to cover childcare expenses.
Applicant must not be currently receiving the Daycare User Subsidy, or a subsidy from a Regional Inuit Association.
Low-income families residing in Nunavut can receive this subsidy to help with the cost of childcare programs.
Applicants must be over age 18, with a child under 12, and must either be employed, attending an education program, or both.
