The reason I decided to come up to work in Nunavut is simple - I had a friend that worked in Nunavut  and she talked about how much she enjoyed working here!

Prior to coming up to Nunavut I had worked in Texas, then to Winnipeg as well as Northern Manitoba. There was something about how my friend spoke about Nunavut that intrigued me, so I had to look into it.
She wasn’t wrong. I have been working in Nunavut for 7 years and have loved it! I have had the privilege to meet incredible work colleagues that have become more than just work friends. I’ve seen the beauty of the arctic, developed a passion for paediatrics and grown professionally beyond anything I could have imagined.

I am so grateful for this experience!
