2018 Premier’s Council of Federation Literacy Award

Nominations are now open for the 2018 Council of Federation Literacy Award. Premier Paul Quassa seeks to honour an adult who supports, encourages and shares ways to strengthen literacy skills in Nunavut.

The 2018 Nunavut Council of the Federation Literacy Award will recognize someone who supports and inspires others to use Inuktut and develop their literacy skills – oral, written or through artistic expression.

Nominate someone who has gone above and beyond to support and encourage others to develop their literacy skills – a student, a teacher, a community volunteer, an Elder or a co-worker. The winner will be recognized with an inscribed medallion and certificate presented by Premier Quassa in the fall.

Deadline for nominations is May 31, 2018.
