Adult Learning and Training Supports (ALTS)

Adult Learning and Training Supports (ALTS) provides financial relief while undertaking training and/or upgrading. It is intended to aid in linking people to the work force.

Training funded through ALTS falls under two categories:

  • Training that directly leads to employment opportunities.
  • Training for work readiness or skills upgrading.

As of April 1, 2023, ALTS applications will align with the Financial Assistance for Nunavut Students deadlines:

  • Winter Courses: November 15, 2023
  • Spring and Summer Courses: March 1, 2024
