Applications open for Team Nunavut Youth Ambassador Program

Are you a young leader between the ages of 16 and 21? The Sport and Recreation Division is recruiting for its Nunavut Youth Ambassador Program!

The Nunavut Youth Ambassador Program is an opportunity for young Nunavummiut to work alongside other like-minded youth to develop leadership skills through sport and recreation programs, training, and volunteer opportunities within their communities, in the territory, and across the country.

Through the Youth Ambassador Program, participants will:

  • Build leadership and life skills through training and volunteering
  • Become more engaged with their community through volunteer efforts
  • Have the opportunity to volunteer at special events, which may include the Arctic Winter Games (AWG) or North American Indigenous Games (NAIG)
