Call for Nominations for Clyde River, Kimmirut, Iqaluit and Sanikiluaq park committees
Do you have knowledge of Nunavut parks? Are you interested in Inuit culture, heritage, or tourism? Do you want to contribute to the management of Sylvia Grinnell and Qaummaarviit Territorial Parks in Iqaluit, Agguttinni Territorial Park in Clyde River, Katannilik Territorial Park in Kimmirut/Iqaluit, or Kingngaaluk Territorial Park in Sanikiluaq?
If so, there may be a place for you on your local Community Joint Planning and Management Committee (CJPMC). These committees advise the Government of Nunavut on all aspects related to the planning, establishment, operation, and management of these parks.
If this sounds like a good fit for you, please submit an application form as well as a resume and cover letter indicating why you should be considered. Application forms are available on the Department of Environment website.
