Call for proposals – Targeted Labour Market Program

The Department of Family Services is now accepting proposals for targeted employment and training programs to be delivered in the 2023-2024 fiscal year, starting any time after April 1, 2023.

Training providers, including non-profit organizations and institutions, municipal corporations, and Inuit organizations, may apply for funding to deliver programs. Priority will be given to the following types of programs:

  • Training and employment programs for people with disabilities.
  • Training and employment programs for out-of-school youth aged 15 to 30.
  • Mining sector training.
  • Heavy equipment training.
  • Skills training.
  • Supervisory and management training.
  • Employment readiness.

Priority will be given to programs offered in Inuktitut and to programs proposed to be outside of Iqaluit, Rankin Inlet and Cambridge Bay.
