COVID-19 second doses vaccine clinics for 5-11

The COVID-19 vaccine is Nunavut’s best protection against COVID-19, and all Nunavummiut are encouraged to get vaccinated as soon as they are eligible.

The Department of Health is rolling out second dose vaccination clinics across the territory for ages 5 to 11. The COVID-19 pediatric Pfizer vaccine is available to those ages 5 to 11 who have received their first dose at least eight weeks ago.

In Iqaluit, COVID-19 vaccines continue to be offered at Iqaluit Public Health. Call

COVID-19 vaccinations continue to be available to all eligible populations across the territory. Call your local health centre to book an appointment to receive your first, second or booster doses of a COVID-19 vaccine. Booster shots for individuals 18 and older are available to those who received their second dose 4.5 months ago and six months for those 11 to 17.

Physical distancing, hand hygiene and enhanced cleaning practices will be in place to help keep everyone healthy. For the protection of yourself and the community, you must wear a mask to your appointment.
