Department of Justice accepting applications for victims assistance funding

The Department of Justice, through the Victims Assistance Fund, is accepting applications from individuals, organizations and institutions for victims assistance funding.

You may be eligible for funding if your proposed project offers:

  •  training geared to frontline service providers on the needs and concerns of victims of crime;
  •  direct services that help victims through crisis response, follow-up assistance, information and referrals; or
  •  public awareness on the rights and responsibilities of victims, available services, the criminal justice system and its procedures, and any issues relating to victims of crime.

Other project proposals relating to victims assistance may also be considered.

The deadline for application is May 18, 2018 at 5 p.m.
