Department of Justice is seeking a Kitikmeot Representative for the Victims Assistance Fund Committee

Do you have knowledge and experience in dealing with social issues, justice and Inuit societal values? Are you sensitive to the needs of victims of crime?

The Department of Justice is looking for a new representative from the Kitikmeot region to serve on the Victims Assistance Committee, providing an opportunity to advocate for victims of crime.

Members will routinely make recommendations on policies and practices of community-based and culturally relevant programs and projects that support healing and wellness. Training concerning members’ roles and responsibilities will be provided.
