Food recalls due to possible Listeria
The Department of Health is warning about food recalls issued by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) due to possible listeria monocytogenes.
La Fondue au Village and PC brand are recalling certain commercially sold cheese products due to possible Listeria monocytogenes. Consumers should not consume the recalled products described below.

This recalled product should be thrown out or returned to the location where it was purchased.
Food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes bacteria may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Symptoms can include fever, muscle aches, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea or constipation, stomach pain, a stiff neck or a bad headache.
If you think you became sick from consuming a recalled product, call your local health centre or Public Health unit.
