The Department of Health is warning about a food recall issued by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) due to possible salmonella contamination.

Consumers should not consume the recalled products described below.

This recalled product should be thrown out or returned to the location where it was purchased.

Food contaminated with salmonella may not look or smell spoiled but can still cause illness. Short-term symptoms can include fever, headache, vomiting, nausea, abdominal cramps, and diarrhea. Young children, pregnant individuals, Elders, and people with weakened immune systems may contract serious and sometimes deadly infections.
