“Learn to…” Summer Programs are back in Nunavut Parks!

Do you want to learn something new? Join us at the weekly “Learn to…” events offered this summer at the Sylvia Grinnell Park in Iqaluit, Katannilik Park in Kimmirut, Iqalugaarjuup Kuunga Park in Rankin Inlet, and Kugluk Territorial Park in Kugluktuk!

Different activities are planned every Tuesday and Thursday, from 1:15 to 3 p.m. local time, until August 25, 2020. This summer, you can:

  • Learn about traditional Inuit stories.
  • Learn how to make a kakivak.
  • Learn about traditional plant use.
  • And much more.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions and social distancing guidelines, groups will be limited to 10 people per event. All events will take place outdoors and will be held on a reservations-only basis. To register for an activity, please call:
