“Learn to…” summer programs are back in Nunavut Parks

Do you want to learn more about Inuit culture while gaining hands on experience? Join us at the weekly “Learn to…” events offered this summer at Sylvia Grinnell Park in Iqaluit, Katannilik Park in Kimmirut, Iqalugaarjuup Nunanga Park in Rankin Inlet, and Kugluk Territorial Park in Kugluktuk!

Different activities are planned each week including:

  • Learning about traditional Inuit stories.
  • Learning how to make traditional Inuit tools.
  • Learning about traditional arctic plant use…and much more!

All events will take place outdoors. If weather is bad, events will be cancelled. Certain group sessions will have limited spots available and will require registration. To register for an activity, please call:
