Last updated Monday, March 25, 2024

The Honourable David Joanasie, MLA for South Baffin and Human Resources Deputy Minister Kristie Cronin will be in Kinngait on March 27, 2024, to present Long-Term Service Awards honouring employees with five, 10 and 15 years of service for the period of 2020 to present.

The Long-Term Service Awards recognize eligible employees who continuously serve without an interruption to their record of employment. The recognition is provided in five-year increments of continuous service.

The event is part of a series of community visits across Nunavut. A gala will be held later this year to honour long-term employees with 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, and 45-plus years of continuous public service.
