Nunavut Environment Week 7-Day Challenge

The Department of Environment is challenging Nunavummiut to participate in the Nunavut Environment Week 7-Day Challenge during Environment Week, June 4-8, 2018.

Challenges will be posted daily throughout the week on the Government of Nunavut (GN) social media pages and the Department of Environment homepage (http://gov.nu.ca/environment/).

Nunavummiut are encouraged to take pictures of themselves completing the daily challenges and to post them to the GN Facebook or Twitter page using the hashtag #NEW18, for a chance to win prizes. Entries can also be emailed to @email.

Nunavut Environment week is held at the same time as Canadian Environment Week, an annual event that encourages Canadians to take action to help preserve, protect and restore our environment. It coincides with World Environment Day on June 5 and Oceans Day on June 8.
