Pink Day 2019

On February 27, wear pink! Pink Day’s theme for 2019 is #BeSomeonesHero, which highlights individuals and groups in schools and communities who make a positive difference by promoting respect, kindness and anti-bullying.

Schools and communities can get involved in a variety of ways:

  • wear pink to show your support against bullying;
  • hold an anti-bullying assembly;
  • make and share a video about the negative effects of bullying;
  • invite students and community members to share stories against bullying;
  • start a conversation against bullying with family members; and
  • take a pledge and show your support by tweeting how you will #BeSomeonesHero.

Every child deserves to feel safe and to flourish at school. Join the Government of Nunavut and support Pink Day by visiting www.redcross.ca/PinkMB_NU for ideas and to order shirts.
