Pink Shirt Day 2021: Ajunngiitugut!

On Wednesday, February 24, Nunavummiut are invited to wear pink for Pink Shirt Day to take a stand against bullying.

Pink Shirt Day is held annually to raise awareness about bullying in our schools and communities. By wearing pink, Nunavummiut can show that they will not tolerate bullying of any kind.

Communities, workplaces, and schools can get involved in many ways:

  • Show your support on social media using #Ajunngiitunga and #PinkShirtDay.
  • Invite community members and students to share stories and videos online about taking a stand against bullying.
  • Start a conversation with family members about bullying.

Everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and valued. Wear pink, support Pink Shirt Day, and work to strengthen and develop positive relationships in our territory.

Ajunngiitugut! Speak Up, Stand Together, Stop Bullying!
