Pink Shirt Day 2024

Last updated Friday, February 23, 2024

Wednesday, February 28, is Pink Shirt Day, which is observed each year by wearing pink as a unified way to take a stand against bullying.

The Department of Education encourages all schools and communities to wear pink, demonstrating Inuuqatigiitsiarniq: respect and caring for each other.

Wearing pink is a pledge to not tolerate bullying anywhere: not in school, not at home, not in the community, and not online. Nunavummiut are urged to embrace and remember this message year-round.

By engaging in conversations on Pink Shirt Day, we can take a step forward towards helping and healing.
