Public consultation on the Nunavut Fisheries Strategy Renewal

Start Date: March 7, 2014

End Date: March 13, 2014

Nunavut Fisheries Renewal Strategy

Consultations are scheduled on:

Tuesday, March 11 in Rankin Inlet from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Thursday, March 13 in Chesterfield Inlet from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

If you aren’t able to attend the consultation in person, please call Sarah Arnold, Fisheries Sector Specialist at 867-645-6752.

The goal of the consultation is to hear concerns, ideas and priorities of Nunavummiut as they relate to fisheries and the future development of fisheries.

Refreshments are provided.

Consultations are planned for other communities, but dates are not yet confirmed. Please listen to your local radio for updates.
